AMMONIA LIQUID COMMERCIAL
(GOST 6221-90)
Liquid ammonia - NH3 - is colorless mobile liquor. It is in gaseous form at the normal temperature and atmospheric pressure. Gaseous ammonia is referred to the fuel gases and liquid ammonia - to the difficult combustible matters.
The product is of three grade:
"A" - is used for nitric acid production, for nitridation as a refrigerant to provide the protective atmospheres;
"A?" - for export;
"B" - for fertilizer production and for its use in agriculture as nitrogen fertilizer.
- The allowed value of water mass portion in liquid ammonia of grade A?, transported in r/w tanks and of grade B is not less than 0,2% with bringing it to 0,2-0,4% at port plants.
- Liquid ammonia is transported in special r/w tanks and tank trucks, in steel containers and in tankers.
- Guaranteed storage life is one year from production date
